 Championship scoring

Could I suggest that for any championship events, so people aren't penalised for having real life commitments, we adopt a scoring system similar to how F1 used to work in the old days.

Drivers in F1 used to only count their best so many scores of the season, so could discount 2 or 3 non finishes without it affecting their championship position.

If we adopted a similar sort of system it would mean on those odd occasions we have something to do we can still compete in the championships overall.
